This might be hard to remember, but think back to when you were learning to ride a bike. Do you think you were having other thoughts about what needed to be done that day, or about school, or friends?
Of course at that age, we don’t have many complications in life, so we don’t have a lot to think about.
But I would bet that you were learning with a sense of joy and excitement.
What happened? Why is it that now you can’t learn with the same joy? Why can’t you focus on the things you need to focus on? One thing at a time.
Maybe you’re not learning things that you enjoy. Maybe you shouldn’t be learning them.
Or maybe you’re not learning at all. Why?
If we take the focus and excitement that we had when learning to ride a bike, I bet we could learn and achieve a lot more in life.
