It’s Just a Job

Often people will justify a poor effort in their job by saying “it’s just a job”.
They’re there just to do work and be paid.
But when you’re at your job for so long each day with that kind of attitude, imagine how that spreads to the rest of your life.
If you always show up half hearted at work, you probably show up half hearted at home for your family.
Or for the sports team on the weekend.
Or for your own health and self improvement.
It may be just a job, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it well.
Because when you finally find a job that isn’t “just a job”, you’ll have developed the habit of excellence that will make a difference.
