Anytime your job involves interacting with people, be aware that it’s more than the end result.
It’s true that in many professions, the result is all that counts. But that doesn’t mean you can treat people poorly.
Instead think “he does great work and he goes out of his way to do more”.
There’s only so long people can tolerate being treated poorly, despite the result, and more often than not, it’s that interaction that’s elevates an experience to a new level.
